Carlos Menendez

Vice President, Borrell Electric

Carlos Menendez, born March 26, 1961, graduated from Jesuit High School in 1979. In May 1983 he graduated from The University of South Florida, receiving a B.A. in Accounting. After graduation, he was employed by a private, local accounting firm, Rex Meighen & Company, as a C.P.A. He practiced in public accounting for five years. In 1988, he joined Borrell, Inc. as Controller of the corporation. He is a licensed C.P.A. and is a member of the AICPA. Carlos Menendez was elected Assistant Treasurer in 1989 and elected Secretary/Treasurer of the corporation in 1991

On April 1, 2004, he became minority owner of Borrell Electric Co., Inc. which was a subsidiary of Borrell, Inc. Carlos is also the owner of MINBE, Inc. which is a minority business enterprise. MINBE, Inc. is a licensed electrical contractor, wholesale supplier, and a related company of Borrell Electric Co., Inc.
